The President, National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools, NAPPS, Chief 'Yomi Otubela, has tasked members of the association to imbibe quality leadership values.
Speaking during the National Delegates Conference recently with the theme, 'Entrenching the Principles of Team Spirit and Transparency in Leadership', the president said being a transparent leader has many different meanings, but the one that works best is the transparency which involves consistently behaving in a way that is open and predictable, with no surprises.

"Today, transparent leadership is no longer just an option for organizations. No matter how hard leaders try to hide truth or cover up unpleasant or awkward situations, the truth will always surface. Reality is reaching employees faster than ever before," he said.
while noting that leaders of professional associations must keep members abreast of developments in the association to avoid them manifesting in unpleasant ways, he said the best approach was to act ethically and talk openly at all times such that the leaders and members form a formidable team that could achieve success.
